Grounded for the Holidays - Virtual Wellness Support Group
The Holidays are a special time of the year, but they can also knock us off course for many reasons. For example, the holidays can bring feelings of depression, anxiousness, and grief. In order to manage, Carter Therapy wants to help you go into the season grounded with coping strategies and a full cup.
Purpose: Assess current mental wellness, identify strengths and areas that need improvement, and learn coping strategies to help navigate stressors and emotional changes.
Who: Any adult who has had difficulty with the holidays in the past, those who are feeling a bit nervous about the holidays, and anyone who wants to strengthen their mental wellness before the new year.
-Togetherness and a warm, safe environment to share and grow
-Identify areas to fortify before the holidays
-Learn and/or affirm coping strategies to deal with grief, stress, family relations, and more.
